Personal Understanding

Real life experience of painful relationship breakdown

Julie Alexander logo

I needed those same skills to get me through both my own painful divorce after a 35 year marriage and a long-term cohabiting relationship break up.

I understand how difficult it can be when life suddenly feels uncertain, emotionally draining or overwhelming. I also understand how hard it can be to think clearly, deal with the everyday and make important decisions when you are trying to process one of life’s most stressful events.

This personal experience is one of the reasons I now work with a limited number of clients, ensuring genuine focus, care and support for each person I work with.

My approach is shaped by

  • Professional coaching and mentoring experience
  • Personal experience of divorce and breakup
  • Understanding of emotional and practical needs
  • Experience with high confrontation and stressful negotiations
  • A belief that people can rebuild confidence, resilience and hope
